WinX Security Center is a new fake "Pc performance optimizer" program that infects the system with Vundo.downloader and trojan.zlob.downloader virus and claims to improve the computer performance. These trojans generally infects the system via freeware (video ceodec) or file-sharing P2P program bundle downloads or by visiting pornographic adult content web sites. WinX Security Center intimidate users via pop up warnings and fake security alerts to download the bogus anti spyware utility together with other pests.
The scanner will display bogus pre-programmed entries and system errors and offer the victims to buy the bogus paid version. WinXSecurityCenter is a rogue anti spyware and hijacker utility that can steal credit card, passwords and other confidential information.
