TROJ_VUNDO.CWY also known as VUNDO.CWY is a trojan horse part of the Trojan.Vundo family, usually dropped by trojan.dropper variants bundled with other virus packages. TROJ_VUNDO.CWY sneaks into the PC via windows system exploits and infects memory processes with various malware threats, and downloads other malicious programs from outside servers. TROJ_VUNDO.CWY can be spread through infected video codec updates, spam e-mails, corrupt program files or via porn web sites. Once the TROJ_VUNDO.CWY is installed, it will run secretly and launch tons of annoying pop-up ads, security warnings and significantly slow down system memory and computer performance.
