The Scour browser hijack is generated by a very malicious trojan vrus (aka Google redirect virus) that overwrites the infected computer's DNS entries and Hosts file. After user enters a search query in one of the the popular search engines, the search result will be taken to various hacked or malicious sites containing spam.
