Troj/FakeAV-FX is a trojan infection that hijacks Windows operating system by shifting file names in the registry. - Corrupt or missing system files, registry keys and dlls files cause "Blue Screen Of Death"
- Popup blocker incapable to prevent pornographic, casino and other adult related mass pop-ups
- Modified browser home page and search results linking to unusual websites
- Computer and browser slowdowns, system bugs and shut downs
- Inability to alter desktop wallpaper, unable to delete unknown desktop icons
- Unusual FakeAV-FX processes running in Windows task list, can't stop weird bleeping noise
- FakeAV-FX is difficult to remove manually, recreate itself after removal
