rogue privacy program (phony Anti-virus or Anti-spyware tool) that uses misleading tactics to recive payments from victims. Once installed Privacy Control will use exploit to inactivate security and execute privacycontrol.exe, PrivacyShell.dll, PrivacyControl.url, license.rtf, launcher.exe, unins000.exe files into Windows system. Generally PrivacyControl spreads through unwanted SPAM email, freeware and file sharing files or via pornographic related sites.
