ISTBar Description
ISTBar, also identified as IST Bar is a widely spread adware program designed to gather hardware and system data, browsing activities and send the collected information to remote servers for advertising purposes. When inside, ISTBar adware will drop corrupt cmctl.dll, istbarcm.dll, istbarcm.dll, cmctl.dll, ysbactivex.dll files into Windows registry and inundate the desktop with unsolicited popups. Usually, ISTBar infects victims computers via malicious pornography, gambling and hacking related sites.
The ISTBar is a disturbing program that can send credit card numbers, passwords and other confidential data to remote servers.
